I think Vargas' mind just wasn't focused after the ABs. Maybe he'll be calmed down and able to stay in to pitch the next one.

So much of baseball is a mentality thing, a concentration thing.

Not sure I agree, Vargas can hit, and I think he was walked, they just called a ball a strike.

I'm stunned at how well Vargas can swing a bat. I'm sure many of the NL teams would love that.
