Yes, not using your best hitter so a pitcher can go 0-3 and then get taken out in the 6th because his turn in the lineup is next inning so our best hitter can only get 1 AB only to be taken out again while costing our starting pitcher another inning, thus wasting a bullpen arm. Man, that is some thrilling stuff.

I would point out that NL baseball is not rocket science to anyone who understands the rules of baseball and has a modicum on ability to think and apply that knowledge to game sitatuions, but you guys have already taken care of that.

It's going to be a glorious day when the Nl joins the rest of the world and no longer sends pitchers up to "hit."
