Yeah, I don't think he'd have sat out.

What is pretty upsetting, is that this is who he was in college and you drafted him.

You mean like he did here the past 3 years?

I don't know that this has much to do with his on field play TBH>

There are 1001 ways to look at this, but to me, if security is having to separate this guy and his mom in the hallways of Arrowhead after a game... it speaks to a level of insanity that isnt conducive to a winning football culture

And frankly, if this pisses Houston off... he can pack his bags as well

Better coaching
Better defense
Better pass rush

We better be getting a 1st from the Rams this year. Peters is likely to lead the league in ints next year. The Rams will keep him for 2 years and tag/trade him for a mint after his rookie deal is over.

O.city 02-23-2018 04:24 PM

The Chiefs had all the power here. Peters would have had to play here for 3 more years, or sat out.

Not ideal.

Indian Chief 02-23-2018 04:25 PM

I apologize if this was mentioned earlier, but this was 65 pages by the time I got home. That great feeling I had about having Fuller playing opposite Peters and really taking this defense to another level...it's gone.

The Rams are an NFC team so who cares?

Peters didn't want to play here, wouldn't re-sign here unless paid an ungodly amount, so KC traded him

Win-win for both sides

So no updates on compensation yet? This team has the worst case of AIDS.

I'll be very surprised if he's a Chief in 2019, unless he has an absolutely monstrous 2018 season.

Apparently, given the lack of interested teams, this is untrue.

Well you can only have so much talent on a single team after all.

Not ideal.

But that's exactly how you take the power away from the team.

Then don't trade him? They had no reason to if they didn't like the compensation coming back.

Hold him for 3 years and let him walk.

kcpasco 02-23-2018 04:28 PM

It better include the 23rd pick this year.
