Looks like the same threads from 1997.....lol.....Elvis and Rich Gannon were the next superstars.....lmao....fire Schottenheimer! (how did that work out?......25 years later one playoff win?) Home field that year too.....Didn't seem to bother Elway, Terrell Davis and company....1-6 at home in the playoffs????.....what a home field advantage!....50 years since KC has won anything....most of you hayseeds weren't even alive then...at least you can turn to your basketball team.....oops, don't have one, ok hockey, then......oops again....well maybe you should become major league out there and maybe the football team might get lucky one of these years....There is a reason that NE, Pitt, Denver own the league.....KC, the Jets, and the Browns never have figured it out. Good Luck next year and I hope you all figure out why on earth you voted for Trump!

If there is any justice in the world, Tom Brady will get Alex-Thiesman'd in the next practice.

So Andy better pull out all the stops for next year, mortgage the farm and sell the tractor, I simply don't think we can count on Pat being 2018/19-season Pat for 10 years. Too honest? |

So we can draft talent, or pickup previously not-bad talent (especially on D), and with their overall mentality turn them into the 31st worst D in the league. But we're going to need a Willie Roaf-era OL to keep PH off a stretcher. And hell, even the Roaf-era OL didn't keep the pretty-much pure pocket QB off the medical stretcher. I'm just saying that PH's life span might not be that of Tom-Terrific based on how many times he has to bail out of the pocket. Granted, he's a master, second to none, when he's out there, but the law of averages aren't in his favor in terms of a 20 year career because of how much he bails (willingly or otherwise). |

I'm still devastated.
|
If Ford lines up right, they hold the Pats to 24 and Brady throws 3 picks in a loss in which they had a 14-0 lead.
Jesus. |
I wonder which brand of whiskey Dee Ford has been ingesting for 48 hours now?

Pour a stiff one for #29 while he's at it, too please. |
Didn’t the Pats still have 3 timeouts left? So even after the Ford screw up the Chiefs would have still needed a first down to ice the game. Andy would have ran it 3 times and Brady would have gotten the ball back with around 1 minute and no timeouts. That’s still plenty of time for this D to screw up.
|
Not really relevant to game but pretty funny: had to pay a visit to the urologist (don’t worry, the D is fine) and, OF COURSE, the dude is a HUGE Pats fan. So this dude is sitting there checking my balls and talking smack whilst doing so LMAO was prettttty upsetting

The Pats would’ve still had a chance, but it was a very slim one |

Given the lack of deep threats, very slim indeed. |

It was at 54 seconds. You could run it 3 times and punt and they have to go the length of the field for a TD.

When I saw that hit live, I figured it was a hit to the helmet and foul. It wasn't to the helmet, but rather was Mahomes' shoulder, so I didn't think it was a foul. That Chris Jones call was terrible. But the non-call on the OPI that led to the last KC TD, and the non-call on Gronk getting murdered by Berry were pretty bad. Seems to me the refs largely kept the flags in their pockets and tried not to control the outcome, which is fine. |
Quote:
No, but we seriously have no deep threats. Pats are NOT a deep strike offense. No Moss, no Brandin Cooks. No nobody, to be honest. 20-25 strikes are as deep as they get, really. People like to call Brady a dink and dunker, which is stupid, but it's true we don't have a DEEP threat game, but it's because we have no DEEP threats!! |
At worst they've got what, 35 ish seconds to go 80 yards at the least.
|
They never learn. The arrogance in this thread..all because of a superior regular season.
Chiefs are gonna blow out the Pats. End their dynasty. (Inappropriate comments about pedophelia..what?)..such arrogance based off of one good season..but at the end of the day...before the team takes the field...they just never learn. Your QB is a class act though, and I found an appreciation for him watching the press conference. Kid has a future. Don't know about dynasty, but he will win himself a superbowl or two. Be humble, and next time you are in this situation, don't be so ignorant. |

Letting Edelman off the line free as an uncaged bird. Just ****in maddening as hell man. God damn. I mean here it is after midnight now Thurs, and I still can't believe it. |

I guess firing Bob is at least a sign that they know we were right, but the fact remains that we were right. I think they knew, but as always they resisted, to a fault, doing the right thing. We can only hope that they just figured out that nice guys finish last, and quit being nice. A great sign of that will be to leak the rumor that they intend to release Berry. Send the "we're no longer putting up with incompetence or non-gladiators" message to the team. |
