so I wouldnt worry about that. Houston has all the gifts, speed, size, strength. Not every guy has the whole package of tools to beat you (i.e Tamba)

Ya we lucked out in that he slid bc of off the field recreational drug use- even as limited as it was reported, ut really seemed to cause his stock to tumble in the draft unless there were more issues I'm not aware of that caused a pretty hefty mid 1st round slide...

@NFLosophy: .@jaredbarzee One thing I'll say about Bray, he should look good in camp based on skills. It's preseason games where he'll flop or fly.

Word is Houston is gonna **** shit up this year. People should expect big things.

I thought they actually sound pretty good considering it is the 1st day in pads and he is working with an entirely new set of WR's. Probably going to take a little bit for everyone to get on the same page. Receivers have to adjust to the pads too. Gus, on the other hand, had nearly 4 years with all of his receivers.

And while it is nice to hear Bray is doing well, he is probably not going against the #1 defense either.

i have learned to temper expectations. that being said, my overall outlook right now is positive, and i think that houston is definitely going to **** shit up this year.

I'm the most excited about his progression this season. I think he has the potential to be our best player within 1 to 2 seasons.

Also, this is the season that we should be able to tell what Berry is going to be.

Why do coaches keep trying to box him? It makes no ****ing sense.

i think we will see less of that this year. crennel did that same shit with rodney harrison, but harrison hit like a ****ing truck so it kind of fit him. berry doesnt have the pop that harrison did.

bigjosh 07-28-2013 10:16 PM

i think you will only see him in the box this season when hes going after the qb or a super obvious running situation.

So should we not be smart and lock him up long-term in season and save some cash? I just don't see it as a terribly risky more in what could be a shrewd cap move, barring an injury he's already a very young pro bowl talent, and in the nfl injury is a known risk with any player- which he is not a red flag with some chronic injury history. ... ???
