hey Rust, how's bill's wrinkly sack taste?

Eh it was known this was a down year. Super young, but talented roster. Almost completely overhauled the coaching staff. Odds of clicking right away are slim to none. We also lost arguably our best player for the season last week.

We'll still have them next year, besides our TE who hasn't done much yet this year.

Good game Rust. Can't believe the outcome myself.

I wouldn't consider any of your skill position players "elite".... Typical ISU fan thinking they have something big.

Simplicity 09-06-2014 03:09 PM

"#LoyalForeverTrue".....

What the **** does that even mean? Is it a football team motto or a 15 yr old girl's twitter saying?

RustShack 09-06-2014 05:43 PM

Probably not "elite", but as talented as they've ever been. Too bad the best of the bunch is out for the year though and the 2nd best WR hasn't been used since he's been in the dog house and they didn't even let him suit up last week.

They will be a good looking team by the end of the year. But it's a tough schedule and might be too little too late. Excited to see it all next year though.

LMAO... Sorry Rust!

Big 12 Suspends Officials In KSU/ISU Game For 'Procedural Error'

The Big 12 Conference suspended Sunday the Iowa State-Kansas State replay official and replay communicator for one game apiece after failing to stop the contest so a controversial play could be reviewed.

The replay official was Mike Angelis, according to pregame materials given to reporters before the game. The communicator's name was not provided.

"After internal review, it has been determined that the video evidence of the play was inconclusive," Big 12 football supervisor of officials Walt Anderson said Sunday in a statement released by the conference.

"However, the replay official failed to follow established procedures in a timely manner, which prevented the play from being stopped for review prior to the next snap.

"Because of the video review process breach, the Replay Official and Communicator are receiving reprimands and each will receive a one-game suspension for failing to follow proper replay procedures and mechanics."

The questionable play in the now-19th-ranked Wildcats' 32-28 victory at Jack Trice Stadium was when Kansas State receiver Tyler Lockett caught a pass while contacting the pylon in the front corner of the end zone. The pylon is considered out of bounds, according to NCAA rules.

Official responds to replay controversy in Iowa State loss
On-field officials ruled it a completion at the 1-yard line, and with Iowa State out of timeouts, Kansas State quickly called its next play, a 1-yard quarterback sneak by Jake Waters for a touchdown. That score, with 26 seconds to play in the first half, trimmed the Cyclones' 15-point lead to 28-20.

"I have not received an explanation why they did not review it," Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads said after the game.

Referee Greg Burks said on-field officials were never buzzed to signal that play should have been halted.

"No one on the field received a page prior to the snap," Burks said. "By rule, once we have a snap, it's too late for us to stop to review the

I like it. Would have made more sense if they were playing Bama, though.
