@LRiddickESPN: Not shocked at all by #Chiefs trade of M. Peters. Not one bit.

But that's exactly how you take the power away from the team.

You think he'd have actually sat out and given up the money? Guys can say they will all they want.

In the end they all play.

And frankly, if this pisses Houston off... he can pack his bags as well

Isn't conducive to a winning football culture?

And what exactly would the Chiefs know about a winning football culture.

You know, there are reasons why this team has nicknames for decades like the qu eefs, the Cheaps, the Chokes, etc. Because it is true. We have minor league vision but major league expectations. And the results always bear those facts out.

It won't. Because Chiefs.

So in two weeks we went from

1 great CB 1 shit CB and 1 good slot cornerback

to

1 great CB, 1 unknown (potentially really good) outside CB, and a good slot cornerback

To

1 unknown (potentially really good) outside CB, 1 shit CB, and a good slot cornerback.

This team got worse on defense so far this off season.

kcpasco 02-23-2018 04:30 PM

So Fuller is now going to be forced into a number 1 role instead being used correctly. This franchise is nothing but AIDS.

Mother****erJones 02-23-2018 04:31 PM

If kc didn’t get pick 23 to start, this is an epic fail on the Chiefs part. Absolutely stupid.

At what level, though? If he's out there getting paid but not trying - which he has shown he will do - then you're paying the franchise tag for a year of...detrimental play.

This just boils down to whether or not you wanted the guy on your team for the next 8 years. If you didn't you have to trade him this year.

But yeah, they better get a ****ing first out of this.

Chiefs have a problem with Peters throwing a flag in the stands, but no issue with Reid throwing the towel in on a playoff game. Cool.

If they stand pat in the secondary. At this point they really can't afford to do that.

Why 8 years though? They could have had him for 3 for peanuts compared to his play and gotten a 3rd.

I don't think we've seen him not try either.

Hate to be that way, hate to lose that kind of talent... but Veach is clearly intent on putting his own stamp on things

If Houston wants to make this an issue, we dont have the room nor time for bad attitudes and people who dont wanna buy in... its all for one, and one for all

We better be getting a 1st from the Rams this year. Peters is likely to lead the league in ints next year. The Rams will keep him for 2 years and tag/trade him for a mint after his rookie deal is over.

Yep, probably to the Raiders!:cuss:

Win-win for both sides

At least it is a win for the Rams. That is still to be seen for the Chiefs.

The Rams are receiving a player with a known body of work on the field. A high level of work. The Chiefs will only have a rookie.

To say it is a win for the Chiefs is a tad bit premature.

Actually, not really - the fifth year option isn't peanuts, and neither the franchise tag would be monstrous.
