You can just see the trust between them. He also seems laser-focused on doing his job. I just like all the energy coming from him this season.

You have to bring him back now. Once Toney and Sky get rolling that's a nice group to go with Kelce.

I think they cut Valdez and give him Juju's money.

Then you have:

Juju
Toney
Skyy
Hardman or cheap speedster who can run jet sweeps

Then they can put more cash in the defense or at the tackle position or whatever.

That's fine but the price tag to keep him in KC is the issue.

staylor26 11-10-2022 12:56 PM

I wouldn't be shocked if he took a team friendly deal to stay.

Imagine missing out on the girl of your dreams to stay with your miserable **** of a girlfriend, then you get a second chance a year later and life is amazing again.

We should offer him 3yr/30M (10M/yr) ASAP

I think he will too. He just doesn’t strike me as a make as much money as you can type of player. Not saying he will play for peanuts, but he might not try to command top dollar either. He has conveyed he likes it here and even said he has learned more about offense in his short time in KC than he ever had before.

He would laugh Brett Veach out of the room on that one, regardless of how badly he wants to be here.

How you figure, sport? That's more than triple what he's making now. If he is demanding top 10 WR money, he can beat it. His play does not warrant top dollar.

What do you think top 10 WR money is?

You are looking at 20M a year range for JuJu, which fine whatever.

Skyy and Toney are cheap. And I'd draft another WR in the first few rounds anyway.

And if you really are going to flush MVS, then go sign Odell now on a two year deal.

There is a huge gap between 10 million a season and top 10 money

This team and Mahomes has got him back to being a productive player. If he's smart he bags a little less here for 2-3 years, puts up numbers, maybe gets a ring, and gives himself the chance to get a v good pay day from another team as he'll still be young.

As someone else said, I'd give him MVS' money probably and probs go for another R3 or R4 swing at WR in the draft.

I still want a man coverage beater but that could be Toney. Maybe I'm being greedy. Am I being greedy?
