Well in fairness Alex didn't play 7 games of his rookie year and he did turn the ball over a lot he had 11 picks and 9 fumbles. If he had played every game he might have reached 30 but we'll never know

He only lost 3 of those fumbles... that's still a terrible number but he officially turned it over 14 times that year.

My mistake I only looked at the fumbles number not fumbles lost.

I expect us to make the playoffs this year, but we won't beat the Broncos. Considering that this is a rebuilding team in a first year system, the last 3 games, although losses, the Offense has actually looked competent. I expect good things going forward. The Future is brighter than I it has ever been, IMHO.

I don't really expect us to beat the Broncos, but we almost did today, and it's pretty hard to beat a team 3 times in a season.

Alex Smith is now 0-3 when the defense does not play elite this season. NFL Network reporting he is 2-26 when teams score 25+ points.

Let's try to understand how football works now. He needs WR to make crucial catches when the ball is very catchable. I fully believe chiefs would have won if WR knew how to catch. The Chiefs scored 38 and 28 in two of their three losses. It doesn't take an elite defense to hold an opponent to less than that.

the Chiefs three losses have come courtesy of two of the better qbs in the league this year. I guess many qbs could win when the opposing qb throws 5 TDS.

I think instead of an elite defense you might in the case of these last three weeks you could say, "alex smith needs a semi competent defense to win."

Of course, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, they all can win without ANY DEFENSE.

And, if you want to be really technical about it, bad int aside from yesterday, Alex Smith probably could win if he didn't have 6 dropped passes on DEEP BALLS in one game.

Nobody who has seen the Jets' past 4 games can believe Geno Smith gives this team a better chance to win.

It sounds like they are handcuffing Geno a bit in NY, by Herming up the offense. They need to unleash the beast and let him penetrate deep. He'll give you some great ones, he'll give you some bad ones. You just have to hope you get more good than bad on that Sunday.
