There is a couple disney moments in there, but overall it was a good watch for me.

Just rewatched Black Lagoon.

It was Breaking Bad before Breaking Bad as mild mannered salaryman Rock is written off by his company and falls in with a group of mercenaries\pirates in the hive of scum and villainy in Roanapur, Thailand and is slowly corrupted by it.

It is part exercise in philosophy, part Tarantino, and part 80s-90s action movie.

It's a series in that it airs once every year, and it's must-watch because it's become one of my favorite year-end things over time. So rather than bothering with a new thread, just put it here

The first season was pretty good. Unfortunately, the second season devolved into West Wing for Dummies. It was awful.

Netflix picked up the third season and it is better.

It would pretty much have to be. That episode where they were supposed to be in Cuba is one of the lamest things I've ever seen on TV. I quit watching after that.

it turned to a total shit show after about the 18th episode of season 1 :thumb:

My dudes, VEEP is one of the best mean spirited comedies I have seen. It's a must watch for those who love Always Sunny or Arrested Development.

Resident Alien off to a decent start, quirky, easily digestible fluff.

Twin Peaks, except not so creepy. . . Northern Exposure, except actual aliens instead of displaced urbanites. And just a bit of cold war sci-fi matinee/Twilight Zone.
