Of course, substitute protein shakes for two meals and have 6 meals per day and only average 1100 calories.

Multivitamin, fish oil, and lots of lean protein. 1 meal. No protein shakes. Just 1 meal. |
It probably doesn't really matter if you eat once a day or 10 times a day as long as you're getting the right amount of calories.
The only thing about eating once a day that comes to mind for me is that it seems like it would be REALLY hard to do for someone who was trying to control their calories, at least at first. |

If you don't eat, where do you get your energy? All powders and such? I don't mean to sound like an expert. I'm not. But not eating just doesn't make sense to me. That's all. |

That's what I'm talking about. For someone who is trying to lose weight, it seems this type of eating would be completely unmanageable. |

But basically it was 1200 calories of all protein, no more than 20g of fat per day, less than 20g carbs per day. |

I always thought of nutrients as vitamins, minerals, protein, carbs, and fat.

And there's no reason you can't get all of what you require in one meal. Hell, a Chipotle burrito is damn near 1800 calories when you load it up, and lots of people eat one of those for just one meal. |
