People ignoring that Seattle probably would rather deal him to an AFC team than Dallas.

I think one of our extra 2nd round picks and maybe a conditional pick could get it done. I'd rather have Reid but that's not happening soooo.

Earl Thomas can play still and is actually pretty durable. Makes us a Super Bowl contender of Berry actually plays as well.

Earl would be worth a 2nd.

Obviously we would never give up a 1st. We will probably do a 2nd and a 4th, which is what we got for Peters, so it's basically like trading Peters for Thomas. Only we didn't know we'd be this good this year and Peters was causing problems so we couldn't sign him long term.

The Rams 2nd rounder would be ok with me. That would be like trading Marcus Peters for Earl Thomas.

BleedingRed 09-24-2018 05:37 PM

Earl Thomas and Eric Berry would immediatly turn this defense around.... ffs maybe Justin Houston could stay out of coverage

Nope, I'm saying he is injury prone and his contract is hurting the team.

Debate it... you can't.

Maybe I went overboard with the toothache comment, but my god it's always something.

From the sounds of this he will most likely not get traded this season.
The Seahawks gave up a 2cd and change for Brown and they think Thomas is significantly better.

Yeah, that doesn't sound promising. Seattle would rather spite themselves and Thomas by keeping him even though there's next to no hope of accomplishing anything this year and an extension would've been done a long time ago if they wanted it done.

O.city 09-24-2018 05:41 PM

Earl Thomas is the best safety in football

Eric berry when healthy is right there too

Sorenson is white so that helps

pugsnotdrugs19 09-24-2018 05:42 PM

I don’t buy that he’s at that airport at all. But damn it do I want it to be true.

Sassy Squatch 09-24-2018 05:45 PM

Seattle sitting at 61 million in cap. Doubt they'd get a compensatory pick if Thomas leaves since they have so many holes and need FAs to patch them up.

Yeah....the whole comp pick thing is bullshit. That only works when you have a complete team and you can't afford to keep your own players.
