Flukey play, but whatever. KU played their butts off. OU will get ass raped weekly in the SEC.

Some on twitter are saying that if the runner broke the LOS he shouldn't be able to forward handoff.

Well if it works the way in college as it does for throwing a pass in the NFL for a QB then he clearly didn't cross the LOS. Mahomes let go of a TD pass against the Titans, I believe, in the playoffs where all but his back foot was over the LOS and it counted because by rule he did not cross the LOS.

EDIT: Thats exactly how it reads from that highlighted portion. His entire body has to cross the neutral zone. You cant even tell if the ball crossed, but its damn clear his body didnt.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">“Fumble” and “handing the ball” are defined below. While not entirely clear, the rule seems to infer that handing is an intentional act by a player in possession. If so, that would make this a 4th down fumble which could not be advanced as the ball was taken away, not handed. <a href="https://t.co/EqmDc42V1Z">pic.twitter.com/EqmDc42V1Z</a></p>&mdash; Terry McAulay (@SNFRules) <a href="https://twitter.com/SNFRules/status/1451995327775526916?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 23, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I think it was intentional. He gave the ball up really easily.

If you’re a KSU fan, why the **** are you at this game?

Why is there some asshole at every game in a packers jersey?

Boomer Sooner.
Go Pokes.

Army had a couple nice passing TDs, but I still get annoyed every time one of our QBs drop back. Let alone a punter throwing a pick-six...

If Army has to lose every game for the rest of the season for KC to win, I may be willing to make that sacrifice for all games except December 11th.

Now we’re getting down into the definition of “handing the ball”.

As do I. At first he didn’t realize who it was but then he did. I’d define it as a handoff myself.

Can Illinois pull this off?

The Fighting Illini, those magnificent bastards!

Bearcat 10-23-2021 02:17 PM

I've never seen such futility in college football OT, much less 9 of them.
