Yet, he wasn't |
The throw Alex made to Bowe was good enough to win the game.
Even Bowe himself acknowledged that and said the reason HE DIDNT EVEN TRY TO GET HIS FEET IN BOUNDS was he had a hurt foot that he thinks would have broken if he got his feet in bounds. |

Tribal, as a guy that sees you as a friend of sorts...can I make a honest suggestion?
Take a break from this for a month or two. We all have a certain level of emotional investment in this team and sometimes those emotions have a way of getting in the way of our enjoyment of the team. Alex Smith is probably gonna be this teams starter for the foreseeable future and with the love affair Andy Reid has for him, that's probably a good thing. If Alex can get over the mental hurdles of going from a game manager to a franchise quarterback (and I think he played at that level after the bye) then this team is gonna win big games with Alex at QB. I don't necessarily mean to single you out on this (even though that's what I did) as I think this applies to quite a few posters here...my apologies if this isn't taken as a good hearted observation. Taking a break from the situation might help you get back to why you like the Chiefs in the first place. This guy isn't Elvis Grbac He isn't Steve Bono He isn't Matt Cassel We might actually have a winner here. Try to enjoy it. |
It's amazing that this topic is still going on

No Avery, no Charles, bowe had a fractured foot +alledgedly+ then lost davis. No idea why the offense didn't show MOAR.

How could Alex Smith blow a lead that he gave the defense? How is the first 350, 4 TD game ever in a loss, not good enough? It's not good enough for people, like you, who have the opinion of a 3-year old. Just say you don't like the guy and never will. Everyone can see through your bullshit. It would be easier than posting the complete nonsensical bullshit that you do on a daily basis. I'm shocked that you haven't posted about the psychological aspects of the quarterback position in this thread yet since you know all about them because your dad played the position in high school 30 years ago. |
