Not quite in that Tyreek/Adams class but probably the next group down. Those guys are right in that 4 year, $70 million range, so you probably looking at 18-20 million a year I imagine.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with what he'll ask for and what someone will pay, but he is on a team with Mahomes that passes a gazillion times. Surely GMs factor that in. Surely HE factors that in. I'd hope the lower end of that bracket is what we'd offer as a max.

Yeah, that looks like a fair contract... it is in line with his current performance this season.

Yep.

Look at this way - Juju is currently ranked 14th among all WR's in both receptions and yards. He needs to score a few more TD's but he's definitely right in that pay scale if he remains the 14th-best WR in the league.

I’ve been preaching this since day 1. He will get a 5/90

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
One of the newest members of Chiefs Kingdom gave the gift of Christmas to more than 50 families at a special event on Monday.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was behind a holiday surprise for more than 50 families.

Smith-Schuster and his foundation paid off almost $10,000 in layaways at a Kansas City-area Burlington store.

"I love it so much because being a part of the community is what it's all about," he said. "These people are die-hard fans. They support us every Sunday, every game that we play in."

Smith-Schuster said there were times as he was growing up when he didn't get a gift or had to share one.

Fast forward to now — the wide receiver says he wants to give back to families who might be struggling.

"It's just nice that I have an opportunity to be a role model to these kids and to give back to the community," he said.

This was the JuJu Foundation's first event like this in Kansas City.

If Veach don’t re sign JuJu imma be pissed at him. He’s a great player in this offense. Don’t have to worry about drops and he’s always clutch

Keep JuJu in KC long term…

He really is an ideal #2 WR for this offense. Dependable, young, physical, good size and ability to be smart with the ball and finds the open spots against zone with ease. Big target with good catch radius.

He’s also a great teammate.

Deciding between him and Hardman is going to be tough.

Pretty sure the decision was made when we traded for Toney.

We might end up getting Hardman for another year due to his injury status.

Chiefs need to be in the hunt for a #1WR in the draft to pair with JuJu

I think so, too.

Let’s hope Hardman gets a bigger deal than we think so it pushes the comp pick up.

Would be killer to have 2 extra thirds next year for Hardman and Bienemy.

If Veach goes and gets a true #1 wr after re-signing Juju…and trading for Toney…and drafting Skyy Moore…I’m not sure how you defend that.

Bowser 12-30-2022 08:51 PM

Where is JuJu in regard to his various bonuses? IIRC, he's about to make some cak'n, pahtna.

Unfortunately that seems like a luxury with the needs at OT and DE.
