If you guys have been dating a couple months, then there is nothing wrong with flowers, IMO.

Yeah, I'm going to agree with Buck.

Choose flowers that are pretty and appeal to what you know she likes. Do you know her favorite color? Make it considerate but not too showy and it will be appreciated.

I'm curious...

How old is this girl and how long has the twice per week been going on?

She's 22. It's been going on for about 2 months. She is just going to school and working. We're both very busy and seeing each other about 2 times a week has been working well.

I just didn't want it to look like I was a clinger.

I assumed he was just joking around since this wasn't really a "shit where you eat" situation.

If you get her any roses, mix some daisies in. Just roses is love and just daisies is friendly. Sounds like your at a mix of both.

Advice here needed:

I've been seeing this girl for 2 months or so. She's moving about 2 hours away, for 5 months, for an internship.

In taking her out a couple times this week, however before she leaves should I send her flowers? What should the card say? I was thinking something like "good luck and I hope to see you soon"

Suggestions??

Yeah, send her flowers and wish her luck. Tell her you'll miss time you've been spending together but at the same time you're excited for her opportunity or something like that. That way you don't sound clingy.

Buck 05-29-2013 06:22 PM

Don't get her Roses.

HoneyBadger 05-29-2013 06:44 PM

Mixed bouquet?

Buck 05-29-2013 06:45 PM

My girlfriend just sent me a text that sounded accusatory and I explained to her what the real situation was. Me being me, I want to know wtf she thought I was doing, but I also know it would probably be dumb to raise this to a level that it doesnt need to be raised to. So I'll keep it inside, and think on it until I see her again.

That's the advantage of being single.

Hammock Parties 05-29-2013 06:47 PM

What was she accusing you of?

It's a long story, but basically last night when I met her I told her that I heard her friend was having car trouble when she was wondering where said friend was.

I knew about this because the event was an art show and I had clicked on the event page on FB to get the venue address and the friend had posted she was having car trouble on the event page and asked if anyone could drop her artwork off at the venue.

Just now she texted asking how I knew she was having car trouble. It felt to me like she was accusing me of either creeping on her friends FB page or talking to her friend behind her back.

I'm probably blowing it out of proportion, but it's bugging me.

She's distrustful because of some past douchebag probably.

Meh. Ignore it.

I'm going to the mountains on Saturday - I'm taking 1500.00 cash - I may end up w/ some super trim.

I'm hammering out an attack-plan now.
