1.5 lbs of tri tip sirloin. Marinated in a spice rub and some worcestershire sauce, and thrown on the grill.

wonder the thereabouts of the protein content in grams for one of those bad boys - How much would you estimate?

Silock 04-04-2014 11:21 PM

Beef is a tad over 5grams protein per ounce.

Search through last year's thread if you want a lot more details. I had an 8 week daily post about it.

But basically it was 1200 calories of all protein, no more than 20g of fat per day, less than 20g carbs per day.

IIRC you ran a protein sparing modified fast, no? I remember you talking about some of lyle mcdonalds psmf diets.

Today's breakfast - kale, lemon, cucumber, lemon and Granny Smith apple, celery and ginger juice. Not too bad.

Yup. With one day of extreme carb loading.

I was not talking about you, I was specifically talking about people I've known for years who tell me how my fasting and pounding down 1-2 huge meals a day is bad for me, yet they've always been overweight and rarely workout. It's astounding that they've never found what works for them to get in shape and be healthy but they surely know what's bad for me?!

You are currently in the battle to lose weight and have done a great job already. Because of this, you obviously know a decent amount of correct information even though you are still overweight. So please take no offense as my comment wasn't directed at you.

Breakfast....what's breakfast?

I haven't had that in a long time!

Okay, so what's this Crossfit shit?

The guys bodies seem to be proportioned like mine if I'm working out hard, which I've recently started to again. Could it be a faster methodology to an end result that I'm currently expecting, or is it a gimmicky dumb thing like PX-90 or whatever that is?

Should I pay attention to such a thing or just go about business as usual?

Look into it if you want. It's expensive. It's potentially dangerous. It's not necessary to get good results.

I like crack for energy, personally - It's just a nice overall sensation.
