Rick is one incident away from becoming certifiable again. However, I'm thinking things are going to be pretty damn awesome now that he's going to be in charge... These pansies need some tough love.
After seeing Glen take care of bidness, I really hope they don't go the same route as the comics. Every time they focus on him I like him a little more.

Rick is at his best when he's in charge.

That said in both the show and comix he's always needed his friends to pull him back from the edge at times.

And Rick doesn't need some damaged blonde - he needs to wake up with a sword above his fireplace...:D

Exactly. As soon as I saw that I knew someone had already been there.

I loved her showdown with "Porch D!ck."

That was the last step her character needed to shed he old self. Standing up to that abusive guy much bigger than her shed her of all her baggage.

Her confidence was already there but this was like Luke choosing to face Vader...

Not just a showdown she flat out punked him, dared him to make a move.
I like this Carol so much better than the comic book Carol.

Well, yeah.

There is nothing wrong with hitting the appetizers hard before the main course.

That's a nice observation. They should have shown Pete wetting his pants.

And something else to consider is that she has talked on a number of occasions about the psychology/mindset of an abusive man. She knew the strings to pull. She knew how to set him off.

She wound that douche up - knowing he'd have to "reclaim his manhood" - and knowing it would lead to the Rick/Douche showdown she wanted the whole time...

It looks like a Ricktatorship, but Carol is the orchestrator.
