Chapman news comes out today? Why now after it happened in October. Think this trade should be toast

Obviously IMO the Dodgers were doing their diligence on the guy and it popped up. They're not going to personally cite it as a reason, but they'll leak it to Yahoo.

Yeah they pretty much have to leak it... because when they turn around and cancel a trade for no reason, their fan base would erupt. This way they save their own bacon from a PR perspective.

Ok, I've always thought the idea of trade for Puig was a little crazy. But, just crazy enough to work.

Maybe with the Chapman deal falling through we can dangle Herrera?

Royals still working out final language of Soria deal. Multi-layered because different incentives for starting and relieving. May be SP.
