Again. Score, and circumstances will dictate that. I don't think that the Chiefs personally are going to have to be in those kind of behind, trailing situations where Donnie Avery is going to be dictated. Jamaal Charles, had 1500 yards rushing on a team last year, that scored 13 points a game.

How do you think he might do on a team that wont always be having to come from behind?

How exactly is the OL a strength at this point? It may end up being, but we dont' even know who's starting at LG, C and we have a rookie at RT (who, hopefully is dominant from day 1).

Never ever said any of that. Stop telling lies.

It was an oline last year that blocked well enough for Jamaal Charles to get 1500 yards, and as far as I can tell, the two changes, at Right Guard, and Right Tackle, should be upgrades at worst.....

There's one consistent theme to teams that throw a lot.

It's not the talent they have, or the lack of talent that forces them to throw a lot.

They throw because they can. They have a QB who can get the ball downfield and isn't chickenshit to do so - and the coach doesn't have to gameplan around his deficiencies.

Teams with over 4,000 passing:

NO
DET
DAL
NE
DEN
ATL
IND
OAK
GB

Teams under 3,300 yards passing:

SF
SD
BUF
MIA
SEA
ARI
CHI
NYJ
MIN
KC

With maybe an exception or two, slingers on the top, Captain Checkdown's on the bottom.

Never said anything of the sort. You are making shit up. I said, that Alex Smith in the 49ers offense, was better than Matt Stafford.

Aaron Rodgers is the best qb in all of football.

You need to remember how these things go. Remember, with Matt Stafford the niners would of been 14-2.....instead of 13-3....Remember?

Hammock Parties 07-23-2013 06:44 PM

My mistake. You said Alex Smith was better than Matt Stafford.

You think Alex Smith is a very good NFL QB.

Well, get the ****ing ball to Bowe, then.

He doesn't, he's SHIT.

You obviously didn't watch many Chief games last year. Our center missed damn near the entire season with a broken league btw, so thats a new spot.

Either way, they were a good run blocking, ZBS, OL last year. For all I can tell, IIRC, they are going away from the ZBS this year as they are transitioning to a pass first offense as well.

Nah. Not at all. Alex Smith over the past two years, has been the most efficient qb on first down.............

When he's been on a team thats expected to run the ball, he's been efficient. I'll wait to see how he is on a team thats going to throw it more often.

Actually, the entire ol sans RG and LT will be different, unless Hudson can get back to normal.

Still incorrect. I said, Alex Smith is better in the San Francisco offense, than Matt Stafford would be, and I agreed with you, that in the Detroit offense, even with Calvin Johnson, that Alex Smith would suck.

You really need to understand what I am trying to say.......

No. I do not think Alex Smith is a very good NFL qb. I think he is an average NFL qb, whose best trait is that he doesn't turn the ball over. He is accurate on short passes. he has no problems checking into a run. he has shown to be clutch at times, but cant carry your team.

Pre snap, he is one of the best, he can pick up a system and has zero ego.

That is all I have ever said about Alex Smith. I think some day he can be a hell of a coach. But a damn good nfl qb? Pffff. no, never.

I have also said multiple times that if Andy Reid decides that Alex Smith can do what he asked Donovan McNabb, and Michael Vick to do, hes crazy, and the Chiefs will win 5 games max. That is all I have ever said......
