I really don't understand the asking for 2,000 pages of his high school homework and stuff he did in 6th grade. Who would even have that? Who keeps their homework from high school laying around? Ridiculous. If they are asking that from his school in Mali, theres no way they can produce that.

It's important to know how the NCAA works. They have a set of requirements to become eligible and its up to the applicant to meet those requirements. It's not their job to prove eligibility but the applicant and only him. Diallo did not prove his eligibility. It's that simple.
This all centers on the nature of his classes at his HS which the NCAA deemed insufficient. They did not rule him ineligible, rather they said he is not eligible. Big difference. He can provide accompanying materials if he wishes and that's why the odd paper chase begun.
Net: they told KU in their report 6 weeks back that they weren't clearing him and Self told associates it was a lost cause. I believe I reported that here. His supplemental materials are a Hail Mary. The fact he's got a lawyer now says all you need to know about the NCAA response. Let's hope he can lawyer himself onto the roster.
