Having a reliable ball-handler at the 2 is a big benefit for this team. Brown definitely looks solid there.

Damn shame Mike Dixon is a terrible person.

Pressey = Honey Badger

He just doesn't give a shit.

Good win to open SEC play.

Nice finish for the Tigers

First place in the SEC, gotta love it!

Can't wait to see them punk Arkansas and Mike Anderson in 2 months.

I think that's gonna bite them in the ass in the end.

Brown looked good with the ball tonight. Hopefully he keeps growing into that. But I wish Dixon wasn't a sociopath. With him, this team is much better, IMO.

Beakers are fortunate they don't have to play Missouri 2 times this year

'Hamas' Jenkins 01-08-2013 08:48 PM

Team played really well the last 12 minutes of the game, but they do consistently terrify me. I'm sure that a lot of that stems from Battered Mizzou Fan Syndrome, where you constantly expect the worst, but not having Dixon just eviscerates our ballhandling depth.

I don't know what to expect from these guys right now. Part of me thinks that they are headed for another first round loss as a 5 collapsing to a 12, another thinks a long run could be in store, but unless Pressey is superhuman we are always on the razor's edge.

Negus and Jankovic need to be significantly better for us to compete with upper echelon teams. Otherwise we will get eaten alive by any team that presses and sinks to the inside.

Bowers with a possible sprained MCL. MRI tomorrow.

I think he will be okay. He came back out and didn't appear to have anything on the knee as far as treatment goes so let's hope for the best

It was negative. He will miss at least two games, probably more likely 3. Ole Miss on the road just became a bear. They are respectable and more than capable of beating us w/o LB. More so if Criswell isn't available.
