Thank you Rahim Moore and Dumb for the hilarity and embarrasment brought to Pile High

Hootie 03-17-2013 10:10 AM

but I can track a ball in baseball so I'm pretty sure I could have made that play because I have actual instincts unlike Rahim Moore apparently

Pasta Little Brioni 03-17-2013 10:10 AM

He'd have raped you too

I swear to God I would have made that play in that situation. I'm moderately athletic.

Moore needed another step before leaped, but even then he might not have batted down that ball.

That was a pefectly placed throw.

And, no, the Ravens didn't need a TD on that play.

They needed a first down on that play, or the following play to keep the drive alive.

There was still plenty of time left for them to continue to drive for the winng score.

Moore was THERE...he just horribly misjudged the throw

and Jacoby Jones had to wait on the ball

It was a good ****ing throw don't get me wrong...but it was a god damn heave and pray 100%

and Moore should have made the play...every safety in the NFL other than Rahim Moore apparently makes that play

and it was a $40M play for Joe Flacco

and now the 'casual' fan thinks he's an elite NFL QB and he simply isn't

he's inconsistent...maybe a super bowl gives him swagger and elevates him to elite but as of now he's a fringe top 10 QB

I'd take Romo over Flacco

I don't have time...I'm hoping it magically heals...I have full movement in my knee, walk with no limp, can run...

I just can't bend down or I get a horrible pain...

something is wrong with it but I'm not getting an MRI...it doesn't hinder me at all except for I can't play flag football or pickup basketball right now

if it still bothers me in another month I may take the next step

I still see a guy that needs one more step.

dude he stood there like he was going to INT the ball...had an 'oh ****' moment...flailed back...and then full flailed and missed the ball by a full hand..

he was literally flat footed standing there before that 'oh shit I misjudged the **** out of this ball' moment...

Jacoby Jones waited for the ball

it was a good throw given the pressure and need for a score...

but he could have put 10 more yards on it and Jones would have caught it in stride

both moore and jones waited for that ball

Look at Smith taking outside position on the play and the LB has poor depth and doesn't cover anything and gave up the goal line. With Andrew Luck or any other QB that prepares effectively against their opponents, thats like taking candy from a baby.

Classic example of what I was talking about earlier.

That's exactly right, its obvious his assignment was outside, the backer should've been deeper.

You generally have solid football opinions, but when it comes to anything that is related in any way to Peyton Manning, you're like a teen girl with a crush on a boy band.

Rahim Moore cost Manning a chance to go to a SB, so Moore has to be villified and reviled.

It was a bad play by Moore, but he wazs not standing there flatfooted.
He was still sprinting and needed another step before he leaped, and even then he probably doesn't get to it.

this has nothing to do with Manning

it was literally the worst defensive play I've seen in my time watching the NFL

the game was over...the game was so over the Broncos with a top 2 QB in the last 15 years decided to run the ball on 3rd and 7 and punt it back to the Ravens because they knew the game was over

and then Rahim Moore did that

that was the biggest choke job defensive play I've seen in my entire life

that was more of a miracle than the music city miracle and I truly believe that

it was an awful, awful, awful play and if he was truly out of position like you suggest then I want to know why the **** he was out of a position in such an obvious position to be in position

Hootie 03-17-2013 10:39 AM

and he didn't even leap...he flailed...because he knew he misjudged the ball...he got to "the spot" and thought he had the INT but instead realized he misjudged the ball by like 5 yards and then he flailed back and missed it by a hand
