Also, will you still be excited when the Chiefs perform as admirably as any of the Missouri Tiger teams or the Royals? Or will you go into rage mode like you do when they all come up short? Because the Chiefs will come up short. You know this, right? |

I do expect a competitive team that will place itself in the position that a few calls there way could generate a playoff appearance. NFL Football is such a year-year sport anymore with injuries and what not. Every season there are a couple teams that are expected to do real good that really suck and vice-versa due to injury or just not having it for that season. I think our offense will not be what it was under DV but it will be better than under Haley\Crennel by the same token I expect our defense to be better than under the past 3-4 regimes So basically out of the gate I see 8-8 with potential for 10-6 barring injury |
Pre season expectations are funny. Last year the Chiefs were division favorties.

1. No more Cassel\Quinn 2. No more Romeo\Haley 3. No more Pioli 4. No more undersized O-line 5. No more read-react defense This team has talent though I agree they are not the most talented but nonetheless I see no reason to not be excited by this team this year. Our division should be rather weak so it isn't like we have to beat out the Patriots for a division win |

I love Jamaal as much as the next guy, but in no alternate dimension is he better than Adrian ****ing Peterson.

Only Mark Sanchez had a worse QB rating than Cassel, and probably would have been dead last if you project his numbers over more than 9 starts, when comparing his stats versus Sanchez who started 15. ... and people wanna argue that we have in Smith will just be a rerun of Cassel? Before his injury and replacing was Alex not I'm the top 10 of QBs? Yeah, he's probably not a top 10 guy, but the bar is already about as low as it ****ing can be to see an improvement from the QB position- and we all know QB play in the NFL has almost no ****ing impact on a teams success, right!!!!???? |
