I don't hate sutton but I would find that funny, it's just talk material i'm pretty sure NO one is going to push him out in front of traffic.

I'm sure that any signing would include a dropping of the NFL lawsuit. I agree that it would be a hurdle.

Yeah, I know the reason he's suing the league. I'm just saying they can't even DISCUSS the kneeling thing (like he did with Cincinnati) until the lawsuit stuff is resolved.

It's a double whammy and why he won't sign anywhere, maybe ever.

Certainly, but in the context of what Marcellus and I were discussing, my posts are tame. I haven't posted repeatedly that our team would be better off if someone Jovan Belcher'd themselves.

But again, any new team is going to give him a deal.

I agree, just pointing out that we could theoretically fit him in without doing anything money wise

Not until this thread gets to 1000 posts

I do believe that ET following the Chiefs and players on social media should tell us one thing—he’d be willing to play here for the Chiefs. I don’t think he’s dead set on any one destination and at this stage he may even prefer the Chiefs, a team with legitimate championship aspirations.

We need to offer him women and booze, anyone ready to help donate?

Kiimo 09-24-2018 06:52 PM

If he's dead-set on the Cowboys he's an idiot. I'll say that. Those fans are about to burn their coach alive.

That's not the problem. The Seahawks seem to want way more than what this situation dictates. 29 year old on the last year of his deal and they want at least a 2nd + more taking into account what they've already declined from the Cowboys.

The longer it goes on, the less leverage Seattle has.

I really don't understand why everybody thinks our draft picks are like rough cut diamonds. As if our defensive drafts have been stellar or something...
