Yes, he can do both and they should do both. The pick and pop game is there to be done with him (for example, they could somewhat do what Denver does with Jokic on the perimeter).

They're gonna have to figure out better ways to hide him defensively (or just hope to play a lot of teams with size) as the year goes on. Teams will go small against us and we can't afford to pull him from the game.
