If Andy is done with him after this, it’s over.

I don't. Which is why it should be looked at as a privilege to play for him. On top of that, he has PMII. This isn't the Raider's or Donkey's dumpster fire, if a player can't get on board with what this organization has going on right now then **** them with a rusty fork.

If Reid feels even the least bit slighted, use two rusty forks.

Second, wanna know the last team that was a 6.5pt dog to the Chiefs at Arrowhead in September?

The 2021 Chargers. And they won.

Bet the spread with me and you can flex your chest when the Chiefs win by more than a touchdown and I’ll gladly send you money. We can do a ban bet as well for a month if that’s more your speed.

You. Have. Derailed.

Are you HONESTLY comparing a divisional opponent, that plays us twice a year, to the ****ing Detroit Lions who we play once every few seasons?

Chargers play us close all the time, they're picked every year as pre season champs, it's completely irrelevant.

I don't need to make any bets with you and be called a thief for taking money from a reerun that bet against Patrick Mahomes in September.

I'd also hate to see you banned for any length of time, because this shit is hilarious.

How about I just come back in this thread after the 41-20 drubbing we hand the Lions (possible 38-20 because Butker likes to miss the easy ones from time to time), and just say I told you there was nothing to be frightened of?

First, that divisional opponent that plays us twice a year? You do realize that Brandon Staley had never been the head coach against us before in that game. Nor had their OC or DC. So, well done! Thanks for proving my point - teams that we don’t know can be unpredictable!

Always impressive when one is so confident on the internet but afraid to actually have any real skin in the game. You should be applauded.

I think we’ll win the game 75% of the time. That’s down from 85% if CJ were playing. It’s so remarkable you feel so strongly about 10 percentage points.

I can’t help but find it hysterical that the guy who thinks Andy Reid is an overrated, mediocre coach because he has so many postseason losses somehow is a full homer when it comes to Reid’s opening game record.

I promise no one will miss either of us. Man up, bet the spread, and whoever loses disappears for a month. Call me a reerun and say this is the easiest bet you’ll ever win? Own up to that. Or is the ability to post on this precious message board just so very important that you wouldn’t risk it even for a sure thing?

Has there been a single person in this thread who has said he thinks the Chiefs lose?

I’m having a hard time finding the exact numbers for the rest, but the whole “The rams ripped up 3 years” is pure bullshit…

And Florio is a fraud.

Just in 2023, the rams would have owed Donald a 15m signing bonus as well as a 14m base salary plus other incentives.

Cant really find the breakdown of 2022 from the original contract, but the third year he’s talking about was going to be the last year of his deal and that’s usually the most expensive.

2022 - ?
2023 - 29m
2024 - ?

I’m not sure who besides otc and sportrac post that

Aaron Donald hinted at retirement this offseason, but the Rams were able to get Donald back in the fold for the season by basically doing something unprecedented in the NFL- they literally just disregarded the three existing years worth about $57.3 million on his prior contract and signed him to a new contract worth $95 million per PFT.
****ing Rams…

I can see why he made that move, then.

If he was only owed 57m in the next 3 years and 29 of that was owed just in 2023…that means there was only roughly 28m was owed in the other 2 years Rolf a very outdated contract.

Most of us can also understand CJ95 wanting a new deal. All of us want him to get one. Even though he was set to be the 3rd highest non QB in football.

But, cmon Chris.

It’s time to make a fair deal for both sides and go to work.

smithandrew051 09-04-2023 08:54 PM

If he sits out to week 8 which looks more likely than not, even if the Chiefs cave and offer him what he wants, he still makes less than what he would have had he signed what they're offering and reported to camp.

The only thing I can think of is his agent is feeding him bad advice in hopes the Chiefs cave and he can use it as a career boost.

Jones is going to end up on some bottom feeder team that maybe loses a wildcard game making less than what KC is offering and in 2 years there's going to be some article where he says he wishes he was still a Chief

I think there is a real chance Jones is “letting his people handle it” and they’re ****ing him.

The agent doesn’t have to give back their commission percentage of fines Jones is getting on their advice. And if he pays 20M to make 9M the agent is out their percentage of the 9M.

I’m guessing Jones isn’t paying attention but if you’re going to pull shit you need to know how it will impact you.
