i think they make em in 850 1050... mine's got a 770 single pump. but we have totally done crazy shit to it.

Ah, I didn't know they got that big, the only car I ever had with a Holley was a '71 Road Runner, it had the 650 with the vacuum secondary. Everything else I owned was GM and they all had the factory Quadrajunks on them.

Something else interesting. He had to put disc brakes on it because they couldn't get it stopped in time. He hasn't been able to get it back down to 10.29 since. He says they drag just enough to cause that.

I bet. It's bad enough having a primered tank whip you but then a white haired 70 something climbs out of the driver seat and promptly hands you a plate of humble pie. How cool is that!

My Dad has a 210 sedan with a 283, 4 gear. He's always putting rear ends in the thing. It was cool growing up, I'd come across a buddy and ask what he was up to and he'd tell me he was out racing my old man. :D The old man didn't win many races but that never stopped him from trying.
