Chiefs: Ankle Sprain Sidelines Larry Johnson For 2-3 Weeks

There is a report out of Denver saying Chiefs Running Back Larry Johnson is out for the season. That report from myfoxcolorado.com cites sources inside the Chiefs organization, saying Johnson has a broken bone in his foot and is done for the year.

Johnson injured his right foot Sunday against Green Bay when AJ Hawk tackled LJ and his right foot got tangled up underneath their bodies. The report out of Denver said it was a broken bone in his left foot, but it was his right foot that was injured. Myfoxcolorado.com said that was inadvertent and it's his right foot that is broken.

The Chiefs completely deny this story, saying their medical staff hasn't told them anything about a broken bone in the foot.

FOX 4 will have more information on this story as it becomes available.

Evidently from today's presser, the foot is still swole......

Anyone else upset with the lying out of Arrowhead? We are not stupid and they are treating us like we are.

You don't want to disclose that information say so, don't lie. Herm knows whether the foot is broke or not. If we went to the emergency room on Sunday afternoon to get some X-rays to see if our foot was broken and they haven't even told us the results by Thrusday? we wouldn't accept that.

Millionaire athletes get better treatment than we do. They know. This is just more King Carl arrogance.

Not really.

LJ is definitely out this week and we know all we need to. If it wasn't a serious injury Herm would just say it's no big deal and LJ will be back in no time. I don't see how this is any different than when Priest went down with the neck injury...

From the info from my source he should be held out for the rest of the season, and will make a full recovery when next season starts

With all respect, Mr. BigRedChief, what is there about the word, "swole" that you don't understand?
