Thought about that. I'd by him one of those without a problem.
It actually TEACHES him how to cook.

You don't wash the dishes/load the dishwasher? Ever?

ROFL

My daughter helped my wife make some cookies once, and she let her have a wide berth with respect to the ingredients. I almost vomited.

I did but your initial post was about a kitchen not a dish washer.

mainly because i have terrible allergies so she mows. i do the dishes (dishwaser) because my wife can't figure out how to load the thing to max capacity and not waste space, energy and time.

i alwso cook way more than my share. wife bakes, that's about it.

You're probably of the 30 percentile.

Probably my own prejudices or ignorance.
In another thread I explain about how we're more of a traditional family. Difference instead of teaching them to be a housewife or sole provider we're teaching them everything.

Not buying my son a kitchen set is hardly "closing him to the world".

Furthermore, let's be real. There's typically certain roles men & women play in households. I doubt more than 50% of women cut the lawn. I doubt more than 50% of men wash the dishes.

fair enough...

it's a sensitive subject for me because as much as people want to think that men and women have equality in this world, they simply do not. I believe that roles we play as husbands and wives, should be roles that are not assumed but rather agreed upon.

Rarely.
We're pretty traditional.
I handle the bathrooms, lawn, trash, floors while the kitchen is all hers.
