Mr. Amnorix

I don't "hate" the Patriots, probably dislike is a better definition. Try not to hate anyone or thing. But go to the Fox Sport Boards and its the braggart, excuse making Pats fans that really turn people off to the team. Players display some smugness which they have a right to. It's like Ali used to say. "It ain't bragging if its true" They have a right to be proud of their accomplishments thus far this season. But the fans, and I'm sure it's a minority of them have tried to stick it down every other teams fans craws all season. And I didn't like the continued scoring when in many cases it was unnecessary. I think we would all feel the same way in any game or sport that we participate in. I remember I played tennis in school and when against an overly matched opponent, might let them win a game or two just to make them feel better about the beating they took. But that's just me and professional sports are a lot different. I just hope they are four good games for this weekend. I can't remember a second round as exciting as this one could be for many years. Good luck to all fans rooting for a favorite and I hope each game comes down to a field goal, turnover or spectacular play that wins the game for their team. That to me is what it is all about. A time for a person to shine and be the hero.

Colts worry me plenty.

The answer is I'd be very disappointed, but would still be very proud of an extremely terrific regular season. If we lost a close one to the Colts, it would be bitterly disappointing, but the Colts are also a GREAT team (15-1 but for a missed easy figgie in SD, when they had a bunch of injuries), so I hardly think it's embarassing to lose.

Losing to the Jags would admittedly be alot less acceptable.

As a Pat fan, you should know this as well as anyone.

Peyton Mangina sucks ass when faced with consistent pressure, and the Colts O-Line struggles with protection against 3-4 Ds that bring it.

It's no coincidence that he had his worst game of the year, and really worst in years, against the Chargers earlier this season.

Injuries played a part in that, to be sure, but the fact is, the Chargers bring it.

I'm betting on the Chargers against the Colts this weekend, because Mangina will get his panties in a bunch when he faces that pressure.

As to the poll question, the Pats will kick the Jags ass.

38-10

I gotta say, the Brady to Moss connection has, for me, gone from a tightwire act to nearly maddening. Early on, it was a series of plays that would've been disastrous on any other play, hanging Moss' ribs out to dry over the middle, superhuman contortions by Moss to turn an INT into a reception, etc. Then against the Giants I saw a lot of borderline offensive interference, most notably that first TD where he face guarded the DB, pushed off at the last second and turned back for the reception.
They've been courting disaster in terms of kharma and aggressive pushing the boundaries of the rules for a good while, now.
Bellichek is running the razors edge to the profile of the 2001 Rams he so famously shut down in the SB. The question is if the Jags have the answers the way Bellichek did in their first SB.

All the pressure is on the Patriots. The Jaguars can let it all go and have no fear. Teams without fear are dangerous because they can try things. I won't predict the score but I do predict win or lose the Patriots will know they played the Jagaurs all next week.
