I'm not suprised by this.

I am suprised this isn't getting defended by the Huard lovers.

I can think of two impact Free Agents they acquired this off-season.
Elam and Turner. Which only gives them an advantage in the kicking game.

It's not as though we haven't made Free Agent signings along the way.

I don't buy that for one second.
Too many other pieces of information that make that hard to believe.
Kevin Harlan said the very same thing this morning in his interview with Steven St. John on the "Border Patrol".

My wife's family is there. We'll find him and bring him to justice.

Please don't.
Let him stay in South America.
Maybe he can find a "football" team there to coach.

I retain my belief that when Croyle gets back, people will be shocked how much better we are in the 2nd half of the year. And I still know that Herm's history is very impressive in terms of getting teams with marginal talent to win big games in December and January.

You are a very loyal person, Mr. Zouk. I commend you for it.

At this point, few would even attempt to defend Herm and his jolly band of Bozos. I think, however, that this may well be the beginning of the end of your appreciation for the guy. The evidence strongly suggests that Herm is an assclown of biblical proportions (and don't try arguing that the Bible contains no direct references to assclowns). We are teetering on the edge of a complete meltdown.

Limited time hurts young players. Will Franklin and Jamaal Charles need a QB that can get them the football.

Bowe's going to get his regardless of who's at the helm.
He has that kind of talent.

This offense had success running the ball yesterday, but only after the Atlanta defense gave them room to run. By the start of the Second Half they assumed we'd come out throwing the ball. Which would've been the case if we had a respectable signal caller.

Winning football games is what Herman Edwards, Carl Peterson and this team is being paid to do.
This is the NFL. You don't tank football games so you can evaluate a 7th Round draft pick.

Did you look at Charles stats? He had both more carries and receptions than either of the 2 previous games.
I don't think Thigpen is the answer, but there is absolutely no reason to put Huard out there unless everyone else is injured.

how long doe sit take for NFL coaches to realize that if you give lj a toss hes gonna take it for 5+? when he Finally got that play he looked like a totally different guy. toss him the ****ing ball

Mecca 09-23-2008 01:30 AM

I laughed when they were running the ball down 3 scores in the 4th quarter.Atlanta seemed pretty content to just let the Chiefs run the clock out too....

Also rebuilding your team without a QB is like trying to lay the foundation of your house with no cement.

Herm's only playoff wins come against Marty Schottenheimer and Tony Dungy, pre-Manning revolt.

You can't evaluate a guy's playoff success when his only wins are against people from the Schottenheimer tree. That would be like ranking a guy as the #1 contender in UFC because he pushed two septugenarians in Jazzies down a cliff.

You are talking to the guy that predicted 3-13. Barking up the wrong tree here. :D

Turns out I even overestimated too. ;)

Huard is just going to get hurt and cause more problems in the end. At least pickpen can move around.

Huard quit last season. Everyone knew it. I honestly dont blame him. He got beat up and had his will taken from him. Same thing will happen. Our Oline is just as bad as last year.

Programmer 09-23-2008 05:12 AM

Putting Huard back in the game will do nothing but prove that the Chiefs are not committed to a youth movement or a rebuilding program.

We sent Green away because he was too old, Huard might not be as old as Green but he is also nowhere as good.

Problem is that we do not have any QB's on the team, only people wearing the number. Thigpen was less than impressive, but it was his first time out of the chute.

I don't think he is going to do considerably better, but what if he suddenly "fits" into the position? Troy Aikman sucked his first year only winning one game.

Guys, we are not a good team - all around. We are not going to win many, if any, games this year. We need to take a look at as many of the players we have while we have the time to give them a shot to grow.
