If people want to get this worked up over a kid in October, by all means, go nuts. But you'd think people would have learned a lesson from doing the EXACT SAME THING over Brohm and Woodson this time last year. There's too much that can happen between now and April to sit here and say that we MUST take Player "X".

I'm going to laugh my balls off when Stafford isn't even the first QB taken in April...

Dude its October, we suck ass, this gives us something to look forward too.

Give me a QB that's gonna go ahead of him...the only 3 QB's worthy of high picks are underclassmen...

And newflash you don't take MLB's OG's or RT's with top 10 picks....

If Stafford was to "pull a Brohm" and fall out of the 1st round:

1) Would people here still want him in a later round?

2) If yes, why? It's already been "proven" that you have to have a R1 QB to win...

I'm not claiming to know, considering there's still THREE MONTHS of the season to be played, and another THREE MONTHS of workouts/combine/etc before the draft.

Just a side note - why the **** is Houston not drafting an Offensive lineman with every pcik until Round 6, from this year forward through 2012? God that's the dumbest fuggin franchise for not understanding the importance of the interior line, geesh.

There are 2 ways I see Stafford dropping past the #1 overall pick.

1. He's hurt.
2. The franchise drafting already has a franchise QB. (at which point they wouldn't be drafting #1 now would they?)

In fact, I think that the #1 pick is going to have a high amount of trade interest this year simply because of Stafford.

Of course, we should think about trading up to get Daniel b/c he'll likely be first off the board. Then, trade back into the first to snag Maclin. Coffman in the second.

I honestly think this is a terrific idea...although ill be surprised if Coffman falls into the 2nd. And Daniel should be a RND 2 pick...hey it works in Madden :)

Round 2 is about 4 rounds higher than Daniel gets drafted.
