Oh my god.

I don't watch TV or listen to the radio while I work, so I didn't know about this until now, when I stopped to eat lunch.

I can't believe this is happening, and I can't believe the way it happened. I never in my life thought there'd be a war on american soil, but today is it. We're under attack.

I can't even think straight. This is beyond belief.

It is standard operation procedure for us to react this way, it should not come as a surprise to our enemies. I appreciate your vigilance in protecting sensitive information. I will not go into any detail other than to say we can put 3,000 paratroopers, A-10 tank killers and air land mechanized forces within 18 hours in the back yard of any nation on earth. I would be terrified if I were an enemy of the USA.

I'd love bring those responsible to the US, fry them, and bury their remains on a newly created National Outhouse. Visitors to the site would have the opportunity to excrete upon the remains of the terrorists.

My sense is, you do that, and if you don't get them in the process, then you're just justifying what they've done in their minds. Remember, these terrorists are for the most part wackos with an ignorant, skewed outlook on the world. I mean, if they feel this is a holy war and they are destined to stand at the side of God when it is all over, no price is going to be too high for them. Seeing their fellow countrymen dead or things like that aren't going to sway these guys, it'll just push them to do more. These are people who are flying planes into our buildings or strapping bombs onto themselves and blowing themselves up or attacking our naval vessels with no fear of death. If it comes down to Armageddon, us killing them and them killing us, if they have the belief that in death they are martyrs, they have no fear of death...

if i was george w bush, i would give the CIA,FBI and NSA cart blanche to do whatever is necessary to handle the problem.
