The reason why this place belittles n00bs who start relevent discussion topics about football is because this place is HUGE. It dwarfs over WPI or any other second-rate Chiefs fan board you want to list. So a big news item happens, like the Chiefs fired Herm Edwards. For the next two weeks, discussions about coaches will be had and had and re-had. Discussions will go in circles. Actual valid points will be brought up. Football will be discussed.

In addition to good football points, various posters will make stupid posts. We all do it. I do it all the time. A comraderie will be formed over funny stuff like stupid posts, stupid posters, what have you.

Somebody coming into this place who's just an occasional poster will want to talk about Haley's defensive coordinator. But guess what? IT'S ALREADY BEEN DONE. It's still going on, in fact, if you know where to look. It's your job, since you missed the bulk of the conversation, to find the threads that are discussing it (there are PLENTY) and then make your point and get in on the discussion.

This place moves too quickly for some people to NOT laugh at n00bs who think they can just start any thread when they want a question answered. The same goes for this guy's post about Pendergast. He wants to know about Pendergast, so he posted it once. Nothing. Posted it twice. Nothing. Posted it again. People told him to shut up. And all of a sudden we're "idiots" for calling HIM an impatient reerun.

You're right. Chiefsplanet is NOT for some people. You're probably one of them. Go ahead and go to WPI. The posters are nowhere NEAR as funny, witty, or knowledgable about football as the posters on here, but at least you won't have your precious feelings hurt anytime somebody punches you in your little girl vagina.
