Oh dear I'm real intimidated by the likes of you.

Go ask your mom for her car keys and go hang around an arcade or something.

Do you have any ideas that concern football by any chance?

Ok football fans. The loudmouths appeared to have run off. Anyone want to discuss the draft in a civilized manner?

Is that possible on this site? I certainly haven't found that to be the case. :banghead:

the people quoted in this article are exactly like you - lazy and stupid...they don't bother to provide any context or analysis for what are hilariously absurd statements...

i've been over his history, stats, and team, in detail...i don't care what lazy, stupid people like you think...i care when lazy, stupid people like you get quoted in articles and other lazy, stupid noobs show up screaming, "AH-HA!...he sucks, lets draft Freeman omg boner!!" or some such lazy, stupid shit that lazy, stupid noobs are prone to say....

if you have a claim to make, then make it and defend it with actual a) facts and b) context.....otherwise lazy, stupid people like you, and those noobs, and the cowards in this article are wasting all of our time and making this place ****ing dumber by the ****ing second....

is that clear enough for you, you lazy stupid piece of shit?

man, i promised i wouldn't even discuss until the draft...but this place is now infested with zombie ****ing reeruns....

ROFL can, i like sanchez, rated by most as the #2 qb in the draft, stafford i have watched freeman too, freeman DOES NOT impress me, stafford's physical attributes do, his mental makeup doesnt, it's the way he carries himself, the way he acts when he gets sacked, throws an int, or the WR drops a pass, i dont like it. i could give 2 shits how that makes YOU feel

This is pretty much the exact take I have at the moment - minus the directive 'YOU'. Stafford has some serious physical weapons, but mentally I'm giving the edge to Sanchez - even with the experience question marks. Freeman wouldn't be in this discussion if he weren't 6'5"....he has the genetic makeup, but certainly not the track record to be drafted anywhere in the 1st.

You can have a logical draft conversation on this forum as long as you know what you're talking about.

Just don't say anything like a RT is worth a top 3 pick.

soundmind 02-21-2009 05:09 PM

And for further discussion, just on the draft class in general:

How badass did Jason Smith (Baylor) look today? That guy outmeasured most if not all to me...I didn't know what to expect, but that dude has a future.

The times I watched stafford the thought "hey this guy will be a great pro" did not come to me one bit like it did with Palmer or Manning or Elway. I don't see why people are so convinced he's a can't miss franchise qb.

i have never said anything like that mecca, it's just some people act as though we are going to influence what actually happens and what the consensus thinks matters

Exactly who put you in charge? Let people have their say and their opinion which is every bit as valid as yours

I'd have some serious reservation about him being taken as high as he's being projected, he's athletic sure he has size yes. I think he has potential but at the same time..he doesn't have much experience at his position he was recruited and played a full college season as a TE.

He's from the spread and never lined up in the 3 point stance all of his run blocking is space and zone plays...

Monroe is more complete but Smith is more athletic...I just would hope whoever takes Smith will realize he may be a very good pass blocker from day 1 but his run blocking needs a ton of work.

Agreed, he is a project - and will likely be drafted a little early, but I was impressed...his size kind of killed his speed too, but he ran well, that'd be a concern for me, but I want speed at every position, so...and I know the Combine doesn't "tell all", but it would be a concern for me that Chris Wells out-benched Monroe. I'd want my OT to put it up 30x.
