I assume you are talking about Abrams. And yeah, he's not making the NBA. He's not even a real prospect. He doesn't do anything but shoot 3's at a mediocre 40% clip.

And he's also a midget.

His defense is awful. True.

His playmaking skills are awful (he averages practically no assists and is a spot-up jump shooter). Also true.

What's wrong about it?

Anybody who has watched a game knows he's not a true point. He's a 2 guard and his stats are vitually identical from last season. He's the last reason that UT hit the skids.

What's his defensive efficiency?

He was shooting 39% before today's game. It was widely acknowledged that he hadn't played well this year so far.

Good luck with that thinking. You guys will have to play your asses off to win at the Phog.

Yeah, he's seemingly become arrogant for some reason. Funny MU fans.

I think I gave you the answer to both of these the other day...

Last win in Lawrence...
Jan. 24, 1999 Kansas (#19) 63 Missouri 71 Lawrence

Last Mizzou sweep...
Jan. 31, 1994 Missouri (#20) 79 Kansas (#3) 67 Columbia
Feb. 20, 1994 Kansas (#4) 74 Missouri (#12) 81 Lawrence

Abrams offensive stats mirror last season. So your argument, if you can call it that, is merely your opinion. He's a 2 guard thrust into the role of PG when DJ Augustine went to the NBA.

Widely acknowledged... LMAO

Monday should still be big.

KC_Connection 02-21-2009 10:40 PM

Before today's game he was shooting 3% worse than last year, with pretty much every other stat identical except for having more turnovers this season. The fact that such a mediocre player is a principal part of their offense is one of the reasons Texas isn't that good.

Yep.. OU won't even move much because UConn lost to Pitt, and UNC and MSU both lost.. and because they were Griffin-less. They'll still be in the top 5, and it's still for the top spot in the conference.

Can't believe Kansas is playing for the conference lead this late in the season, much less the outright lead.....

Okay, so we've established that Abrams is the same player he was last year, except that he's now a PG, when he really is a 2. He has a few more TO's, which is a result of being moved to the point.

And you seem to have moved your argument from "Abrams sucks" to "Abrams is a mediocre player and (shouldn't be) a principal part of their offense", therefore Texas isn't good.

They keep getting better each game. Even the Morris boys are starting to "get it". Peaking at the right time.

I know this year isn't over but next year is going to be fun. Even more so if collins and aldrich both stay. KU will have a top 5 team.

I'm not optomistic, but I hope they do.
