Hamas' points about Mays' versatility have me leaning towards him. Having flexibility with players is always a good thing. Hopefully we'll have the chance to get him.

We need Oline and Dline help first BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE...

We can't pressure the QB....we can't block anyone for shit. We need help in the trenches...that's where it all starts. You need a good Oline to be successful on offense (we all should know this as our Oline in the DV era made a bunch of castoffs look like Probowlers) and you need a good defensive front and pressure on the QB to allow your LB's and secondary to break on the ball and make plays.

Especially anything in the secondary. That's probably the last place we need help at.

This is all the proof one needs that we should draft one of these two outstanding safety prospects.

He and Hootie should start a draft site just so we know what *not* to do in every circumstance and situation.

yeah.....Oline and Dline doesn't mean shit. its not important. I mean, our team is kicking a lot of ass in those areas. I mean.....we are great at running the ball.....our QB's have all the time in the world to throw downfield. We are stopping the run, and more importantly, we are getting a ton of pressure on the QB and our safeties and CB's are making all kinds of plays on the ball because of it!!!!!! We're ****ING AWESOME!!!!!!!

Yeah....so let's throw a 1st round pick at RT...or better yet....we can spend another 1st round pick on the d-line! :spock:

"Run the data through the Dipshit converter, Todd".

"You got it Scott"!

(sound of keyboard tapping...)

"Converter says O-line and D-line for the first, boss".

"Well that settles it then; Safety it is"!LMAO

In the last 2 drafts we've spent two top-5 picks and a 3rd round pick on the defensive line. We've already spent a 1st round pick on our LT. We shouldn't spend another 1st round, yet top-5, pick on a RT.

We need a NT. When schemes and regimes change sometimes you have to swollow what the previous regime did. Dorsey can't play in a 3-4. I mean unless we do something in FA for a NT, then I'd say draft Mays. I didn't say anything about drafting a RT top 5pick.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE WATCH THE GAMES.

The defensive line, more often than not, are NOT tasked with pressuring the QB. If you think we need MORE help on the defensive line, you simply don't understand our defense. The fact that you think the last place we need help is in the secondary just underscores it.

You obviously either:

1) Aren't watching the games or

2) Have absolutely no idea what it is Dorsey is SUPPOSED to be doing.

Cody is a 2 down player that has bust written all over him. Boo Robinson seems like a good option for NT in the 2nd or 3rd. Granted I haven't watched either WF game this season yet, just going off of past years.

You can't get prospects like Mays or Berry in the 2nd but you can get a Ron Brace or Boo Robinson.

You SHOULD be able to get a NT in the 2nd or 3rd.

It's going to depend on the recent teams moving to the 3-4 and how much it raises the relative draft value of the position.
