If I'm a stud QB prospect in high school, the last place I'm going is to the U of F if I'm interested in going to the next level.

He's definitely right.

The funny thing about Mayock is that this debate mirrors his public perception.

Spread Option QBs look great at first, just like he did. Then, the more you see them, the more you realize they aren't suited for the pro game, just like the more you see Mayock, the more you realize he's a ****tard.

Yeah.

No worse system for QB development than the spread option.

I've learned over the years to simply tune out Mayock when he's talking, but he and Charles Davis and the NFL Network provide the best, most comprehensive (Hey Laz, there's "comprehensive" used properly) film breakdown on prospects available.

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-28-2010 10:22 AM

Imagine that, Cart McCoy measured 6'1", not 6'3".

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-28-2010 10:28 AM

Tebow runs a 4.70.

milkman 02-28-2010 10:29 AM

Could Mayock be slurping TeBow anymore?

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-28-2010 10:44 AM

Ouch. Lafell runs a 4.60.

Priest31kc 02-28-2010 10:57 AM

For the MU fans, Jared Perry runs a 4.58. Of course they went to commercial during his run & only his run.

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-28-2010 11:00 AM

Shipley just ran a 4.57

ROFL ROFL

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-28-2010 11:06 AM

In response to me saying Shipley has marginal speed.

He has a measured 4.4.. Welker I believe was a 4.6

So what other UT WRs failed in the NFL? Roy Williams? Limas Sweed seems to be catching on with the Steelers... How about Jermichael Finley(played TE/WR) Kyle Shanahan? (oops, ok forget that one)

He does not have a "measured 4.4". He has a guestimated 4.4. He also has a guestimated 4.51. There's a reason why guys run 40s at the combine and they take height/weight measurements. It's because you can't trust measurements from the school. He doesn't have speed. He also doesn't have Wes Welker's quickness. He's also coming from a program that doesn't produce pro prospects that correlate to their hype.

We are all well aware of the fact that you watch all UT games. Whether it's your pimping of Colt McCoy, or your continued pumping up of Michigan products, like that douchebag who had good bench #s and you wanted us to spend a fifth on, you can't be trusted to give an honest analysis of the players that you have the most investment in.

Wow, Tate will not be available w/ our 2nd pick. A 4.36? Didnt expect that from him.

I'm thinking Benn may be there at 50, and I'd love to make that pick.

Abso****inglutely.

And ROFL at Shipley.

Makes me wonder if Bryant would have run a 4.7+

On the flipside, Golden Tate is faster than I expected.
