LeKevin Smith makes Leon Lett look like a player with great awareness.

Alot of people on here seem to think Chambers will produce like he did last year with a new contract.

Back off, man.

LeKevin Smith, Justin Fargas and Chris Chambers are huge gets.

Christ, I can't even TYPE that with a straight face.

You're not really going to commit to the idea that Kevin Walter would've been a better signing than simply re-signing Chambers are you?

Oh and you left Thomas Jones off that list...
But surely that was unintentional.

A lot of people assume this would be different from signing any other Free Agent.

Seems to me like we have two FA visits set up.

Let's cut to the chase though.
Who should we have gone after?

I bet we'll sign the 32 year old with off field issues and see the same results as LJ once he got a new contract.

Yea it would have been a way better signing.

Kevin Walter is another Alvin Harper type guy I'm glad we didn't invest in. It's great to play in a pass friendly offense, with a really underrated QB and stud on the other side, but what was Kevin Walter really going to add here?

What's wrong with signing both?
You see, I am not talking about signing specific players.

I am talking about filing holes with every means at your disposal so that when the drfat does arrive, we don't have to target so many specific positions.

His size, speed, and sure hands would be perfect fit for this offense.

We'll forget that Chambers had better numbers than Walter...just last year.

nothing but an excuse as to why we pass on a top tier guy next year in the draft.

Yeah, it would suck to have signed a WR that is three years younger and has actually produced on a consistent basis.

I can't believe anyone thinks a 31 year old WR that hasn't produced in over 5 years is the answer.

But hey, to each their own.

I would've taken one or the other, but not both.
I want a young WR come April.

Which I'm fine with, but I don't want the FO looking away from WR in the Draft because we signed Kevin Walter.

We'll forget Chambers was the #1 target and he's 4 years older than Walter too.
