Lineman, torn knee tendon, not good. Especially at LT since they seem to be the most athletic in a line.

Correll Buckhalter has torn a patellar tendon twice (once in each knee) and he is still the fastest RB on the team. If RB can do it so can an offensive lineman.

it affects lateral movement, running in a straight line no problem, but actually planting and cutting is another because of the knee brace

Buck 04-29-2010 09:44 AM

He's going to be out for the season.

Dude...you've acknowledged that you're a homer, but statements like this just make you look like you don't know what you're talking about. Linemen brace with their legs and try to push forward against 300-pound defensemen. Running backs...well...run. There's a huge difference in how much pressure is placed on a knee in those two situations.

Again Mark Schlereth had plenty of knee injuries and was still very effective.

Don't be dumb KnowMo. I've had to see lots of OL injuries in SD and they always take longer than expected because of their body weight.

Well Moreno isn't exactly a track star.

Ok, so ... correct me where I'm wrong. Nobody is really saying that he will never return... just disputing the timeline.

Buckhalter missed the 2002 season because of an ACL tear - he played 0 games.

Buckhalter missed the entire 2004 AND 2005 seasons because of a ... torn patellar tendon in his knee.

Two seasons - I don't know how his injury compares to Clady and I don't recall what people were saying about his pending return within the first week after the injury.

You drew the comparison.... so there is your fact.

Everyday I come on here, and every single freaking day KnowNothing posts and shows he does in fact get dumber every single day.

Give up the act already. You know nothing about the injury. You know nothing about weight, the offensive line, or how difficult it is to come back from a serious injury in the reasonable time frame described. Just give it up already. It's one thing to be a homer. It's another to be on the far left hand side of the bell curve.

Actually, no. Please continue. I couldn't make up this kind of comedy if I tried.

Denver News: Broncos OT Ryan Clady was fatally gunned down outside a local nightclub around 3 A.M. last night. Police report his vehicle was hit with approximately 600 rounds.

KnowShit: He's young and we got some great rehab people. He'll be fine by Week 2. Read a tweet that said so.
