Haha. No. I googled "rock ready land cruiser" and copied URL and pasted it in without even looking at the picture closely.

You did not notice the antennas or the lack of people in them?

Yeah, I dislike the newer Land Rovers. A lot of them seem to be built for the city now instead of safari.

This though....

I think that's cause they are....

I'd guess that about 95% of the "off-road" vehicles sold these days are never driven off the pavement.

I think this is the last year for the body on frame rovers.

Are you an idiot? I didn't say let me know when you find a video of one on the internet.

NewChief 10-04-2010 02:20 PM

What's even worse is that I almost pasted this:
http://www.emodels.co.uk/plastic-kit.../11120_445.jpg

As an example of a badass Land Rover before realizing that it was a model.

Oh. So you want me to go and find a trail, sit around and wait for any vehicle to pass by, much less a Land Rover. then come back here and report to you.

I'll get right on that.

I don't know if it's how they come from the factory now, but the clearance on the things seems to be absolutely ridiculous... like they're as low as a car for the most part now... at least most of the ones I see on the road are.

I could do much more with a wrangler and the extra cash it would take to get the rover put towards mods.

What do you gents think of the newer generation Wranglers?

Owned one of the old straight 6 models once, and I like the looks of the new...

I like them. If you want a more aggressive trail ready rig some of the dealerships are doing custom builds. A dealer here does them under the package name of Mercenary.
