The replacement receivers had injury issues. Then they brought in the living legand with a 1st round draft pick, and were pressured into a QB controversy that everyone pretty much knew was going to go Tebows way.
3.My guess is Orton is better than everyone gives him credit for being. He sort of showed that here, without the benifit of even playing with our offense before. 4.And he probably has a serious chip on his shoulder about being replaced by a FB/TE.

1. He had more than a fair shake in Denver homey. He was handed the job by Fox after McD left and he had his favorite WR in Lloyd too. Lloyd wasn't traded until after Orton was released. So he had Lloyd, D. Thomas, Royal and Decker. So your making crap up when you say "They shipped out his best receivers." Gonna call a big steaming pile of BS on that one.
2. What are you talking about? What "replacement receivers"? D. Thomas had some injuries but Orton still had Lloyd, Royal and Decker. The only WR that was not on the team from the previous year was Gaffney. Otherwise same group of WRs.
3. Broncos fans said the same thing "Orton is better than everyone thinks, he doesn't get much credit, blah, blah, blah." Fact is, Orton stunk up the place and the Broncos were 1-4 with him starting. The Broncos even had a decent running game with McGahee.
4. Orton got a fat contract with the Broncos and he stunk. The only thing he's looking for is a big contract so he "may" be motivated to play for that reason.
