If true, it's not good.

It means that the Chiefs aren't that optimistic about signing Bowe to a long term deal.

few reasons:

1. Bowe wants crazy ass money
2. Bowe just wants gone
3. Chiefs really don't believe that Bowe is a #1 type guy and prefer to move on

My guess is that Bowe wants Larry Fitz. money to stay in KC or he'll eventually sign with a team with a franchise caliber QB to pad his stats and get him the contract he's looking for.

A 1st + his $ demands? Most definitely. Bowe is a nice WR prone to drops with no big-game (post season) credits to his name.
