Xrays starting to show pneumonia. They are transferring him to Childrens Mercy in Kansas City by ambulance because they can't fly due to weather.

I think pneumonia can still be taken care of without lasting damage if they can get it under control quickly.

Oh, definitely. Most people get over it just fine. My point was only that it CAN be very dangerous if not taken care of in time. As you alluded to, it sounds like they've got it under control.

God that's awesome... For years we've dealt with the doctors and nurses at CMH (where he should be now), and I'm so impressed with the spirit of those in pediatric medicine. I'm glad to hear of yet another example outside of CMH where the best in the human spirit shines through...
