Thank you to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts. It certainly helped me and my wife get through the last 48 hours.

That experience isn't something I'd wish on anyone. It's the most gut wrenching time of my life and I've certainly had a lot to compare it to.

Baby was delivered at 4 AM this morning. Doctor's estimated that it had been dead for 1-2 weeks.

PA law says we had to either have a burial or a cremation. Thankfully, my friend is an undertaker and my aunt works for him so they are taking care of the cremation part.

My wife held very tough and she's the toughest person I'll ever meet. I'm so thankful for her and my 3-year old.

This experience has changed me forever.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that we can grieve and heal.

Last week, we got a call Friday afternoon saying blood test #2 did not come back great and that our risk for down syndrome increased significantly. The genetic counselor said she would explain it all to us in an appt. on Wednesday.

Well, he went to check the heart beat today and there wasn't one. They did 2 different ultra sounds and nothing.

Tomorrow the wife will be induced and deliver the deceased baby. This is likely going to be the toughest day of my life and I know it will be hers and would appreciate some prayers especially for her.
