Alex Smith is better than Cassel but he did have a great oline and solid running game in SF.
I think the KC will win more games with him next year if they use him right. He needs a strong running game and play action in order to be effective. If Reid passes a hundred times a game, he will get killed and will turn the ball over. As far as the amount of yards he has thrown, they will obviously be low if your offense is based off the run game and you play with a lead. If you are behind all the time, your attempts and yards go up. Of course that probably means his interception numbers are lower as a result as well. |
