I wasn't able to sever ties with the team and be indifferent. The more I thought about the Alex Smyth trade, in the context of all the other disappointing moves they've made over the years, the more it pissed me off.

I wasted 30 years hoping for a Super Bowl berth from a team that obviously doesn't even want to make it to the Super Bowl.

.

Really, really impressive hyperbole.

Yes, John Dorsey, Andy Reid came here because they just don't want to win a Super Bowl.

I mean, really?

They might want to win one. But I dont believe the Clarks or the average true fans wants to....

They want their tailgating and 7-9....

Otherwise this franchise would make moves that were geared towards winning a superbowl.

Why does Clark spend the money then? I just can't get behind that logic that the guy doesn't want to win. He's paying huge money to established NFL people, he ate a shit ton of money the last 2 years, and has spent so far this year on players.

The guy is trusting what the people he's hand picked for this organization tell him.

NFL.com reports the Chiefs still hope to sign franchise player LT Branden Albert to a long-term deal.

Per reporter Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs are still operating under the assumption that Albert is their "left tackle of the future." What that means for their draft plans is unclear. Selecting someone who would play right tackle at No. 1 overall would be unprecedented. Albert and the Chiefs have until July 15 to hammer out a long-term agreement.

"Per reporter Ian Rapoport". Ugh. Perhaps one of the most unreliable reporters.

He spent money to win back the fanbase... He fired Scott, hired Reid,etc...

You get this team to 7-9 year after year, minimal risk investments in players, avoid the QB position and give the fans hope for a 1st round playoff loss and you will rake cash from KC like no other...

Its not like we havent seen this before in KC. I have been a fan since 1987 and its the same thing over and over and over and over and over....

It would help if you people wouldn't exaggerate with the 7-9 bullshit. It has always been about 10 and 6, everyone that follows this team knows that double digit wins is the true dream. :D

I don't blame him for taking online classes. The guy gets no privacy at all now, especially on a huge college campus.
