The funniest thing about his apparent fall is how some on here pimped this guy as the next Unitas or Montana. When the experts disagreed or anyone here disagreed they were attacked. Apparently GMs, coaches, and scouts also didn't see him as a top pick either.

I don't remember seeing a lot of Montana talk. I do remember people saying -- and many experts agreeing -- that Geno is the best QB in this draft. And that there was more than enough evidence to suggest that, in a relatively poor draft, he was worth taking a swing on at #1.
But maybe we were wrong. Maybe there are bigger issues. Should be interesting to see what he does (if anything). |
