Hilarious. The jets will ruin Geno, but the niners didnt ruin alex smith?

Mav 04-28-2013 08:31 PM

To the Op. Of course the answer is the Chiefs. First, Geno Smith sucks, second, instead of being given the time to develop, he is going to be thrown in immediately, and get killed. He will be out of the league in 3 years tops.

You have to be a pretty damn terrible QB to be selected in the first couple rounds and be out in 3 years.

Guys like David Carr still have jobs in the NFL. Same goes for Matt Leinart and Vince Young.

Geno Smith will be fine for awhile.

Brian Brohm? Jamarcus Russell?

I didnt think he would get out because of talent. Im figuring injury. Hes going to get POUNDED in new york. Or a mental break down from the ny press. Hes pretty thinned skinned.....Vince does not have a job boss.

If a QB cannot make it in the NFL, it's because he simply is not good enough. Not because he was 'ruined'. I don't believe that.

I bet the Jets ruin Geno and he's out of football in five years

Considering he's going to have two different coaching staffs the next two years and the Jets defense is a big hunk of "meh," I'd have to say this is quite likely...

So we can count the first 5 years of Alex Smith's dogshit career as indicative of who he is. The 49ers didn't "ruin" him, correct? Good. Yes. Dogshit without Jim Harbaugh. He simply wasn't good enough.

Proceed.

Correct. Or, hopefully just a late bloomer. :)

Lots of quarterbacks have been "ruined." David Carr comes to mind right off the bat. I remember watching some of his games his first year and there were guys in the backfield as soon as he caught the snap. Poor bastard never had a chance.

Marc Bulger is another one.

The homer in me still wants to believe Ryan Leaf's career was really and truly ended by having to face us.

I seem to recall a vague list. We took a poll, the percentage that wanted him was ****ing laughable and full of the usual suspects, and then when we took him.....OMG ITZ A GOOD MOVE WIN NOW HERP A-DERP DIZZLE PEEHOLIS BALLZ TASTE SOOOO GOOD NOM NOM NOM...

The percentage jumped up by about twenty or thirty, followed by the OTHER usual suspects who immediately begin kissing regime-ass when a deal goes down becoming absolutely insuferable.

Matt Barkley with Chip Kelly with Desean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and McCoy. That is the winner in this.

Geno not beating out Sanchez for starter.

I hope he doesnt. He needs a year with a clipboard in THAT shithole. I want him good and ready to whip Axl's ass next season.
